Day 1: I bought her in 2012 for a daily in highschool at 17, when I went to college (which I didn't end up going lol) I paid about $11,000. 90,000 miles. 1 previous owner, who was sadly a smoker.

Then I started making my stock car very ricey in the summer of 2013:cry: I honestly couldn't tell you why now. I painted all the accents purple even bought a purple chrome exhaust tip I still have on today. I also bought a wink bar/wink mirror/golfcart mirror whatever you want to call it.
Image

Horrible I hated it this way, the duct tape trim lasted me all of a week. I got over trying to have purple accents and started painting everything black & white. in the winter of 2013.I also Then bought myself coils.
Image

For a present to myself for my birthday, December 1st I ordered a different OEM front grille & coils. Yes right before the snow. I also removed almost all the decals on my car I had over 20 ha.

During the winter though I was able to buy a woodie grip royal steering wheel online & xxr 17x9 wheels from a friend that owned an rx8. I also was able to buy rear camber arms from a fellow mazda 3 sedan owner. He said I would be able to get -7 but I successfully reached -8 camber in the rear.

I started getting my car lower....

After this I started lowering it more, removed all the decals.

I now lowered it more but stopped for now till I order a lip and side skirts. I also added one new decal.

I was pulled over in Ocean City, Maryland during Fresh Meet & OC car show for too much camber & it being unsafe and too low.
But before the car show I started redoing my interior since it was once owned by a smoker it has stains and just isn't luxurious enough. I wont show a whole interior picture of my car yet because im still dying fabic and carpets (NO backseats in my car for at least 4 months ha) and putting in new fabric.

But I will show the door panels I have finished. Its a dark chocolate brown suede. I also resprayed and cleaned the door heavily.

But this is my build so far. Sorry its rushed had to pull a lot of pictures off my phone. To see more about me and my mazda 3 named Luna follow me on instagram @CheyenneZxo

I like it; I like the brown too; not many people go with a brown accents in the inside, with black it looks clean.

It's funny how your car went from lots of stickers to clean, for a lot of people it usually goes the other way around haha.

Needs window tint!

I'm also curious how it would look if you blacked out the two middle arms on the upper grill similar to how mine is to give it that semi open mouth look.

Clean build Cheyenne!
I still say rip the side door molds off though ;)

haha! Win; that's literally the first thing most 3 owners make others do is pull them off, that's pretty funny.

Just take a clay bar and some wax to the area after you get them off and you shouldn't see any marks after a day or two.

It looks much better without them!

OEM skirts would be a good addon, I keep forgetting 2.0s don't get them, and it looks kind of weird.
Along with the "Mazdaspeed" skirt addons for the side, you can get those reproduced and cheap on ebay, that will make the car look a bit lower on the sides. (I believe BaysonR sells them on ebay)

I'm not sure what front lips you can run though with that front bumper.

Digging the car, and those door panels are pimp.

Love what you did with your 3. I would never have though brown would look good on the interior, but in that picture it looks super classy. Keep up the good work!

Do you have a fix-it ticket for the lowz or do you just need to pay?

Btw if you haven't fixed the smoke smell yet, that IS fixable. I think you can pay a pro to ozone your interior for <100$s... which in my opinion would be totally worth it, smokey smelling cars are not nice to drive.

This is the Kenstyle body kit; most people just end up with the front lip though for the sedan for that front end style... I wonder if it would be too much.
You'll definitely need at least the OEM side skirts.

I just don't know what most people end up with. There's another lip that looks just like this except it isn't as crazy on the nose. It's what Kevin Ehm has/had on his car along with another extra lip below it probably for some subaru or something.

Along with OEM skirts, and mazdaspeed brand skirt lips and ZG flares.

I dont waste my time doing fix it tickets when doing traffic stops. Its just to much paperwork and half of the time its something silly. Window tint to dark, exhaust to loud, lights are the wrong colors. the list goes on and on, camber and ride height to.. forget it I don't want to get on my knees to measure an exhaust pipe, or the ride height. If its dangerously low, you'll find that out when your on the side of the road with a blown tire. Generally speaking if the driver is perfectly friendly and complies i normally handout warnings.

How do the cops (that are after the smallest things, thank god you are not) give a ticket for too much camber though? It sounds too subjective, I feel like there can't be a reliable way of determining too much camber on the spot. Unless there is a way a cop can measure on the side of the road. But the camber reading will change depending on what is the trunk, back seat etc etc...

It's only legal if some law or code is being broken, otherwise its police harassment. Years ago, I had a cop give me crap about not having a rear view mirror mounted to the windshield of my Miata. The car was so small, and I'm so tall, that it was bothering me sitting in my line of sight, so I removed it.

A cop pulled me over, had nothing to really get me on, and latched on to the missing mirror (both side mirrors were present.) I calmly told him he was wrong, and that no vehicle code in the state of Louisiana required me to comply with what he was ordering me to do. When he called me a smartass and asked how I knew, I slowly and calmly reached to my passenger seat, and picked up the Louisiana Motor Vehicle Code Book for that year. I was a Criminal Justice major.

He dropped it and told me to love along when I said "Go ahead and write the ticket, just be sure to quote the reg I broke so I'll have an easier time making you look like a jackass in court."
