I noticed yesterday that the the unit leaves a small gap from the bottom between the unit and the ac controls. And i can see plastic clips from the ac controls from the gap. I tried to see if there is a way to stick these clips inside the unit so there isnt a gap but i couldnt . Has anyone else noticed that or is there a workaround?

The trip computer will NOT WORK! But it's only the canbus decoder what can't handle it. I try to buy an MZ-SS-02 what packed with D/G/GM5151. I still not understand why Eonon not send it with the GA5151.

If I understood right, I will install 06-09 lcd and hope it works correctly. Then I will be able to install ga5151 head unit and all should work well?
Do I have to order that can bus decoder also or does it come with eonon?
What is actually that can bus?

The trip computer info that used to show from the left side of the lcs that it shows the clock .I am talking about the LCD display not the head unit. Like fuel consumption and every fuel related info .
I read from earlier posts that the can decoder from gm5151 works with ga5151 without loosing trip computer info. If is that the case have you ever tried to use the gm 5151 decoder with ga5151 unit ? Its a shame gm series models of eonon everything works and on the newer version trip computer doesnt work.
Also the radio reception like other members noticed isnt as good as the oem unit. Is there any way to improve that?

Just as i said the CANBUS BOX of GA5151 now can only support the unit to display the time ( Clock) and navi info on the LCD display at present, it cannot display the fuel consumption info. Since it has different project of GM5151, so your kind understanding will be very appreciated.

Another question. Tried to connect my obdII bluetooth device with ga5151 . It sees the device in settings bluetooth try to connect but nothing happens. I believe it should ask me for a code to connect to the device but nothin happens. Any tips about that?

I succesfully made the lcd conversion yesterday thanks to seanli08!!!. For the records, my car is a European (Spanish) 2004 mazda3 and I used a 08' display from a junkyard . It worked exactly as expected here: it shows amb and climate temp and time. I will be searching the post about how to set the clock.
Then, just to couple of things pending:
1. Make the Bluetooth works in all situations (elm32 and file transfer) following mazdakps steps (thanks again!) And
2. After the initial installation the little yellow led icon light for the headlights is allways on. Even when I take the carkey out and lock the car. I do no think I have read in the post anyone with this problem.

Hi peti007, thanks for your suggestion and detailed explanation. But our unit can only display clock and navi info at present. Our factory is working on this function.

I've installed the device and I am loving it. I have my Ipod touch 4 connected directly through the provided ipod connection and I ran the cord out through the ashtray.

I noticed the stock media player for iPod and USB devices does not display album art. Can anyone recommend a media player that would detect the iPod or USB media with a nicer interface? Something on the play store maybe?

Any other app recommendations that improve the experience?

I have noticed this too and plan to take the nubs off of the Climate Controls with an exacto knife or razor blade. I am just waiting on some warmer weather to run my cables exactly where I want them and I also want to try to take the faceplate off of the radio to see what options I have for color matching.

I am sorry to post so many post at a time BUT I had a weird issues today. I got into the car and after boot up I noticed I only had sound coming from the Front Passenger speaker. It was really odd. I played with the Amp to make sure. It was about 36 Degrees Fahrenheit so it wasn't that cold. When I went out for lunch it was about 55 Degrees and acted like it was going to do it again but then all speakers kicked on. I am running a stock Non-bose system. No Amps or aftermarket Speakers installed. I have a 2008 Mazda 3 Sedan.

Yes my unit is sitting flush in the dash but not flush with the climate controls like the stock radio. I will take pictures this weekend to show everyone what I mean and hopefully a finished result.

Very Simple add the CANBUS that comes with D5151Z and the GM5151 and use it for GA5151 That's it Problem Solved everyone will be happy Also make the GM5151 CANBUS available to buy for the people who bought GA5151 with the WRONG CANBUS ?
