I'm buying a dash-cam, and it comes with a power adapter that allows it to draw extremely low current while the car is off. If the car is hit (motion sensor) it will start recording. I'd like to go down the passenger A-pillar and wire this into the fuse box that's behind the glove compartment.
It also has a rear camera and I need to get a wire to the back of the car ... that's gonna be fun
oh:
Best tips on how to do this?
I also have a Valentine 1 Radar Detector and would like to hardwire into the same fusebox, but only when the car is on. Once I have the pillar off this should be really easy...
I've searched and searched and not come up with very much on pillar removal or fuses. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
