There are plenty of trucks and cars that low. Its called laying frame, or laying body. If you are into the lowriding scene, that is the creme of the crop. If you aren't into it, no need for name calling.
My thoughts exactly. Everyone has different tastes that we aquire while growing up in the scene. If everyone liked the same thing how boring would that be! I'm perwsonally into the MINITRUCK scene & if you don't have bags & lay frame & now even body, you' haven't even started. Check out my club's website. www.characterminis.com Check out my wagon & my truck.

I thought they were in an old Lincoln Continental in The Matrix, but I guess you don't really get a good look at 'em. I agree with the others that say that suiciding the doors would mean suiciding the current good looks of the 3. I personally would never consider such a change, even if I could do it for free. As much as I love tinkering with my car, that's just way too over the top.

I think that suicide doors would look pretty trick on a mazda3. Have that baby lowered with a nice body kit and it would look great. And those so-called "VERTICAL" doors are really called "SCISSOR" doors (I would be affraid to have a car with those doors for fear of hitting my head on it).

Suicide doors make sense in some applications, our 3 not being one of them. Look at the 8. Notice how there's no door frame b/w the front and rear doors? Having it this way with the suicide doors eases entry/exit in to the rear of the vehicle. You'll also see this on some of the extended cab trucks for the rears. IMO that's the only place for it. For a couple grand I can think of many other applications I'd rather spend my money on.
