5/8 is like 16mm, so it probably won't fit if you need a 14mm but it depends on the plugs

 

It depends on the spark plug used.

But for the most part many Mazda's are 14mm


If it is a Skyactiv 2.0 or 2.5 then 14mm

 

Thank you. I noticed your socket is a 12 point. Does it matter?

 

For me It is more about making sure that the socket fits firmly so there is no accidental thread damage .
That socket even has its own separate secure protected draw area with . 🤓
Some tools are worth spending a little more money for the quality.

 

The question was about using on a spark plug on a ski active Mazda engine(this is important because of the spark plug access’s) so the better , safer and easier to use choice is a 12 point
