Problem with remote key locks/lights

Has anyone had a problem with there mazda 3 remote locks. Today I came home from work and locked my car like I normally do, but the lights did not flash and the horn did not beep. I could hear it locking. Another weird thing is the lights do flash when I unlock it. I even tried my extra remote and it did the same thing. Looks like it's time for some warrenty work, I guess I'll just add it to the list of other problems I've been meaning to bring it in for. Thanks

Well I figured it out. I was thinking to myself that sometimes when I'm getting out of the car with my girfriend I tend to hit the remote lock before she closes the door and the result is no lights and a clickfrom the locks. So I thought I would just double check the doors and they were all closed. So I thought maybe I hit the trunk latch on the inside of the car somehow. So I checked the truck release and yup the trunk was open. So I closed it all the way and tried the remote locks and the lights and horn all work.
