If noone can tell you for sure, you might be able to see the ABS ring on the axle next to the knuckle/spindle if it has one.

I worked as a mechanic for just a couple of years back in 2000-2002. So I'm way out of date and this may not be true anymore, but it used to be a CV axle with an ABS ring would fit a car without ABS. This used to be true on just about any car.

 

If your car has ABS I would imagine your axle has the ring. Again dont take my word on this, just me thinking outloud.

 

Ok, so forget everything I said. Apparently some Mazda3's have the ring pressed into the hub with the bearing.

I would jack up the car and see if you see the ring on the CV axle behind the spindle.

 

My 2008 has the ABS magnet on the wheel bearing. Not the axle. Not sure how similar an 06 is but I bet it's the same.
