Glove box light not working...

As the title states my glove box light won't turn on and I can't identify the problem. To give you some background I purchased an 07 4-door last month and have been making some modifications. I changed the maplights to white LED's and decided to change the light in the glove box because it wasn't working anyway. I figured the bulb was toast and swapped out the old one for a new LED, but it didn't light up. I turned it around and checked the connetion but nothing. I also swapped that out for another LED bulb but it didn't work. I checked the wiring and connections and everything seems okay, so I am lost. I checked in the manual and there aren't any fuses listed specifically for the glove box light, so I checked fuses that seemed related and couldn't find any that were blown. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Is there some switch that turns the light on and off when you open or close the glove box? I couldn't find anything. Any help would be awesome! the light is linked to when your headlights are on. There is no switch for it At least on the 07s I know there isnt. which sucks but that is how it is you would think with such a deep gb that it would be switched.

We had a debate about the glovebox light a while back, there seems to be a lot of confusion about it. Most thought it was like a refrigerator, light comes on when the door opens, and shuts off when the door closes. I actually put my camera inside the closed glovebox on a timer, and it turns out that light is always on, as long as your headlights/parking lights are on. So make sure your head lights are on, or at least your parking lights, and it should come on. If it doesn't, then I have no idea where to go from there.

That's what I was thinking because the wires going to the light come directly from a wire harness and not from a switch for the glove box. I checked it with the lights on but the car wasn't running so I'll try that.
