go for it man. you will have to bring it to a dealer though to have them program the unit because of the security codes in the key and what not. but yes it will work. I switched my cluster from an 05i to a 06s cluster and it works like a charm. just the dealer labour for instal i would suggest you shop around some dealers charge more then others

so did it change ur mileage?or they programmed it 2 urs?

 

it changed my mileage to what my new one was at because that is unchangeable and if you have a mtx car you must buy a mtx cluster otherwise it will not work.

mtx= manual transmission

 

Since your milage changed, does your title change to something other than "clear"? If you carfax a car, it usually has a spot that deals with mileage and will tell you if the reading from that vin# is consistent or not.

 

if you get it done at a dealership then it should not because it is properly documented but in my case i dont care because i needed a new one and i personally broke it. In my case it was not a warranty thing i could pull off and paying 800$CDN at the dealer wasnot my cup of tea
