Hi all,
I have on '04 Mazda 3 Hatchback. I have taken the car to the dealer several times but they could not figure out what the problem is. Now the car is out of warranty and I want to diagnose the problem. I'm afraid it might be something too big to handle.
When the car is at idle, specially after driving around for a while, there are random jerks coming from the engine. It's strong enough for everyone in the car to feel. It's not a vibration because it's not repeat that fast. Maybe 1 every second or every 2 seconds.
is this a commonly known problem? The car has about 25K miles on it.
I'll be doing a full tune up this weekend and I'm hoping that'll take care of it. It's just interesting that the dealer could not find a single thing wrong with it even though the techs agreed that the problem existed.
