Dvd button

Hi, hope evry1's ok... i have a S5 and i'm planning to put a dvd screen... i don't know about the others here, but i have a button on the head unit that does not have a function (tape/md) and i want to use that button to turn on the dvd screen that i have on my dash. if it's possible please help me or if u have any other way please i'll thank.. take care and thanks in advance

You have to find the EFSM diagrams and go from there, as it would require the re-wiring of the button, to isolate it and make it independant from the HU. It may or may not be possible, i am just guessing, only the EFSM will tell you for sure if a re-wire is possible.

Of course, unless somebody has done something similar.

EFSM = Electrical Factory Service Manual
The FSM may also have these diagrams, just that i know Mazda had seperate manuals for repair/servcice and electrical.
