I have about 28k miles on my 2010 Mazda3 hatchback. It’s an automatic with slap shift.
I noticed recently that it’s getting stuck in 3rd gear. For example, I was pulling out into traffic last night, and as I was accelerating, the RPM’s went to 4k, but it wouldn’t shift out of 3rd gear. I had to let off the gas, slap shift it into 4th, and let it get back to normal. It’s only done this twice.
Has anyone else had this problem? Everything is stock...no mods. It hasn’t been wrecked. I’ve had it since August, 2010. Is there a recall I haven’t heard about?
