Car: 08 Mazdaspeed3
Wheels: XXR 527 17x8.25 +35 Offset
Tires: 235/45/17 or 235/40/17?
Suspension: Stock, but looking at Eibach pro Kit
Finally some people got these wheels in. Too bad you can only get Chromium black or flat black in 17x8.25. Silver would have looked great on my Sunlight Silver MS3. I am really afraid that the +35 won't fit in the back

The 9.5" range of wheels has not been very documented yet has it? How about a 19x9.5 35 with 215/35/19 tires up front and 19x9.5 25 with 215/35/19 in the rear? The wheels I want come in 25, 35, and 45 offsets in the 9.5" wide.

I am currently running 19x8.5 37 (w/5mm spacer) 215/35/19 in front and 19x8.5 27 (w/ 15mm spacer) 225/35/19 in the rear with lots of camber. Fenders are rolled and pulled front and back and the bumpers are trimmed down at the corners.

Compared to my current wheel/tire setup:

Front: http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=215&aspect=35&diameter=19&wheelwidth=8.5&offset=37&width2=215&aspect2=35&diameter2=19&wheelwidth2=9.5&offset2=35&Submit=Submit

Rear: http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=225&aspect=35&diameter=19&wheelwidth=8.5&offset=27&width2=215&aspect2=35&diameter2=19&wheelwidth2=9.5&offset2=25&Submit=Submit

Depending on what coilovers you have, a 9.5 +35 might hit on the inside, so you might need a spacer. I would try to test fit, the +25 might be a better option up front, with as much camber as possible. And the +35 in the rear (that way you won't need as extreme of camber in the rear to look decent since they're so freaking wide).

Thanks guys. I was thinking about running the +35 front and rear. I have H&R coilovers installed and I didn't have any problems with the 8.5 +42s up front. The 9.5 +35 would sit about 6mm closer to the strut than those did, right?

I have 5mm spacers up front now so I could space them if needed. I don't have camber plates up front so the front calculations are more important than the rears. I really just want an even amount of wheel poke front and rear and I would prefer to run some camber in the back since it kind of fits the look and the whole setup is function > form anyway.

hey guys i was wondering will this work. which set will be close to what i want. :)

17x8 offset is 48. hub is 73 will hub rings be needed?
i want to get that beefy tire look. thinking about
235/45/17 or 245/40/17 ? i am lowered on bc coils. rear is maxed out. with 1 finger gap left and front still have more room to go lower but also with a 1 finger gap i am on 215/40/18 18x8 45 now. if i were to get 245/40/17 i might have more wheel gap even if i maxed out due to having 17's
so would 235/45/17 be the better choices? :) :)

Did you check the spring rates between the 1st and 2nd gen prokits? Because if i recall correctly the 2nd gen is a bit heavier

17x7.5 with a +45 offset? Would I rub under any circumstance? I lie to corner pretty fast.

That will be fine, if you stick with 225/45/17 tires.

Question answered, should've read some more, haha sorry.

I have a stock height on my mazda and I was wondering if 18x7.5 with 225/40/18 tires would fit? Offset is 42 or 43...i dont want to rub or roll my fenders
To be sure you won't have any rubbing with 225's you want the offset to be between +45 to +50. A few mm lower like that, you run a very slight chance of rubbing a small amount over big bumps etc. But you'll be fine, as long as you can live with that. Otherwise, either get the rears rolled a minor amount or go with a slightly higher offset.
