Hello folks,
So recently i was parked in the lot at work, shift ended so I wandered out to my car to head home. When i turned on the engine, I got a powersteering light, and my steering wheel was pretty damn stiff.
I did a quick OBD scan and got the following errors:
U2012, U1900, U0131
My car is a 2007 Mazda 3i
I did a fair bit of googling and couldn't seem to figure out where the problem was comming from, so I gave up and decided to head home and give my arm muscles a work out (Not sure that was the greatest plan at that moment).
To my suprise, after i reached the edge of the parking lot, driving max about 600 ft, the powersteering decided to kick in and the light went out.
This happened for a few days, every time I started the engine.
Then 2 days ago, it started without issue and hasnt caused me any problems. However, the powersteering light still comes on randomly, but my steering is still responding.
So, my question is, who in the world has any idea what could possibly be wrong ??
