My plasti dip bumper is holding up just fine so far. We'll see how ice and snow treat it if winter ever gets here.

Thanks. It's definitely better than before but I am happy it is only a seasonal bumper. That's something around 4 coats. Heavier over the damaged areas you can see above. It filled in the holes a bit and made it look less mangled.

I can vouch for how awesome this stuff is though. It came off the whole bumper like a big vinyl sticker would when I had to repaint it. I made the fog light covers myself but I thought I could drill through the already painted bumper to attach them. The bit pulled a section of the plasti dip off so I tore it all off and started over. It was a pain but a lot easier than trying to deal with actual paint.

It's JUST starting to wear lightly under the headlights where the bumper makes contact with the lenses of the headlight. You probably wouldn't notice unless I told you.

I've pressure washed my bumper at the local car was without any problems. I wouldn't go crazy with high pressure though as it will probably come off.

I have heard mixed things about using clear or paint over plasti dip too. Haven't seen what happens myself yet though.

I have a set of 17s in my garage that I am planning on hitting with plasti dip and then a colored top coat.

Yeah it looks like he didn't do that. The finish should have been a lot smoother looking when the plasti dip dried. Hard to say though. Maybe when winter is over I will try spraying my winter bumper and see what happens. Chances are it will need new dip for next winter anyway.
