do you get a check engine light with this intake?

 

nope.. no cel
just have to remove the negative battery cable during install and your good to go
i followed a how-to based off an injen cai and no problems whatsoever

 

i installed it on my car without disconnecting the battery and got no CEL.... jus a fyi

i upgraded to a carb legal intake
not sure about the gains, its definitely noticeable though
improved throttle response too

 

if u wanna know HP gain, its not very much.. but its a nice sound and quicker pick up

 

Where is socal are you located? and will this also fit on an 07 ATX?
