CEL (P2177) System too lean off idle bank 1

The problem is that you are using a larger than stock MAF housing. This will throw off the MAF readings, and cause the CEL you are getting.

This is a common problem with newer Mazdas. You have to have the MAF housing diameter perfectly correct, or you will get lean fuel trim codes. I believe the MAF housing diameter is approx 2.75".
