Anyone else have a hard time reading engine oil level on 06?? The litle scoop at the bottom of the dipstick is impossible to read. I much prefer the blade type distick over the cable type used in the 06 any day.

I agree...it sucks, especially right after changing the oil, when it's gold color. Can't tell how much is in there. Is the '05 stick blade type? Can they be switched?

I would be leery of trying that. The dip stick tube was repositioned on the '06 models and that may have altered the length/depth of the tube and/or the dip stick. Â

It sticks to both sides, that's not the problem. I think the surface finish of the front of the dipstick makes the contrast really bad and thus harder to read. I'm trying to attach a photo but am having problems...anybody else having problems with attachments?

I think the MS3 will come with one of those devices you stick in your ear, but instead of telling you your temperature, it will tell you the oil level in your engine. :csweeney:
