Hello everyone! :klavergreg:

I would like to trade my brand new "still in the box" Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs for somebody's brand new Racing Beat lowering springs (Part #: 71080). I bought these springs before shortly before Christmas and decided not to put them on. I am looking for a milder drop. If you have new Racing Beat springs and are looking for more of a drop, please contact me. For reference, Eibach springs will lower your vehicle 1.2" up front, and 1.2" in the back (this info was taken from the Eibach.com website).

Thanks!

I may be one of rare ones with Racing Beat springs, and the drop is indeed mild about 0.5-0.75 inch.

Let me tell you though, these springs are stiff. Let me re-phrase, the ride is stiffer due to stock dampers. My stock dampers had about 40k miles on them when I put these springs on, and along with RB sway bars, ride quality doesn't even compare to stock. It's weird because RB spring rate is supposedly the mildest of the aftermarket springs.

I wish I had these springs in brand new box, b/c I would be willing to trade. Not sure how I would get these off in this weather, unless I take it to a shop...

Thanks for the info, Gundal. Was the ride stiffer due to different size/brand tires and sway bars? I saw your other post on 215/45/17 size. Is that what you are still ridin' on?

The reason I want to trade my Eibachs for Racing Beats is because if I want to trade it to a dealer, I may be able to leave the springs on the car (mild drop). I didn't think they would "ride" so much harsher than stock. Somebody else on this forum mentioned how close to stock his ride was after installing these. Thanks...

Yes, I am riding on 215/45 which have about 4/32 left... pirelli p-zero nero M+S, which are decent tires. I do have tire-pressure set to 38psi in front though, which makes ride stiffer.

Sway bars definitely contribute to ride stiffness. I put on sway bars first, ride was stiff when wheels on one side go over bumps. Then I put on springs 2 weeks after, I noticed ride was definitely stiffer. I would think this is b/c my dampers are old, and roads I drive on are very bumpy/crappy roads. If you don't have sway bars or old shocks, I think you'd be okay with these.
