I was on the way home and got a little lost and cut across a napa auto parts store. There was potholes everywhere and all sorts of bumps and what not and right when I am about to get out of the lot I notice my exhaust being really loud. So get out my car peer underneath and sure enough the midpipe (I think) is disconnected and hanging. Also without it being connected anymore it pushed my exhaust tip right against the bumper, but that is ok because it isn't hot seeing no exhaust is goign through there. So I had to take it to my exhaust shop and leave it there until they work on it tomorrow. I don't know how much it will cost hopefully not a lot seeing it doesn't look like any major damage occured just that it came undone. I wish I would have had the place I am taking it to now install my exhaust because they specialize in exhaust systems and racecar drivers trust them. The place wasn't open when I first got my exhaust and now question the quality of the shop I had install it. So what do you think? Did the potholes and what not cause my exhaust to come apart or do you think the exhaust shop did a shitty job installing it or a combination of both?

sounds as if the pot holes undid the loose bolts from the exhaust work that was done previously.
I would make a copy of the bill and go back to that place and try to have them pay for the work needed.

and dont go back!

Trust me i'm not going back to that place. Also they did not guaratee there work because" they didn't make the exhaust". Anyway I just hope that it won't cost a lot and get the new shop to correct the problem(s).

The fact that they wouldn't guarantee their work should have been enough of a warning sign not to go there.

They told me after I had it installed or else I would have gone elsewhere. :(

Well that's shitty business practice. Any chance you can report them?

you can always file a complaint with the better business bureau, not sure if it will do anything.

That's what I was thinking.

I don't have the space or the tools which is why I had it serviced.

Well it was welded but a very bad job of it. Went to pick up my car and they said the whole system was loose. The previous installer only put one hanger to hold it up. The new guys I took it too added 3 more hangers and went ahead and tightened and welded everything up again. They let me do an inspect of it while it was on the lift and I was pretty impressed. On a good side note they were impressed with the quality of exhaust from Trubendz. The new shop customizes exhaust all the time and to hear they were impressed made me feel good about my investment. I will be goign to www.kasperskorner.com for anymore needs I have.

Idiots. No wonder why it messed up on you.

Why would you cut something off that was intentionally there in the first place? That'd be like running rims with only 1 lug nut.
