good luck finding one, i have a white g1 waited 2.5 weeks for it since it was on backorder, and the brown one is no longer available for sale at the tmobile store or online. there was a g1 one for sale on here but not sure if it still is.

Store near me has brown, white & black ones all in stock. I just dont want to pay retail for one =( There's quite a few on craigslist, I figured I'd check here first. People on these forums seem less creepy then Craigslist.. lol Worth a try right! So how do you like the G1? Ive heard mixed reviews.. I have a sidekick slide currently-

Have a g1 and love it. Switched from an iphone to the g1. Battery is okay, make sure you turn off auto sync. Auto Sync the main thing that kills your battery as it tries to sync your email/calendar/contacts every few minutes. I go about 2 days before having to charge (i browse the web and play games on it too).
If you arent playing with it and only use it for calls it will last about 3 days without having to charge.
Screen does creak a little but is solid. No other real issues besides that.

+1 i had a sidekick then got the g1 i wanted the ifone but since i told tmobile i'll get an ifone they gave me the g1 for 150 bucks, not bad, as for the fone the battery kinda of sucks but theres an app for power management and it seems to work pretty well try hustling the tmobile customer care and tell em ill leave tmobile and goto att&t for an ifone cuz there giving me a better deal, 9 out of 10 they will give u the g1 for cheap
