Have you looked at the full pedal set that xenonexpert.com has? It's kinda pricey but the quality is terrific and having a set balances out the footwell area.

Here's a pic of my old one and new one together. The old ones were made of steel vs. the newer aluminum. It's the flanged style primed and painted gloss black. I never had any problems with it rusting at all. It's very slightly bent just from pushing my foot against it, but it doesn't effect how it sits on the car's floor at all. I'm not sure if it has any scratches or scuffs as I never cleaned it up after removing it, just put it on the shelf. Obviously it's a little dirty in this picture. Old one on the left.

Here it is new

The new pedal is also a sok07. It's aluminum and is done in a satin black vs. gloss. It also has the Mazda 3 along the bottom.

He used to do custom orders on a waitlist.... recently he's just made 10 of the same (mostly in the black like my new one) in a GB type format. I'm proud to say that I started the black deadpedal craze. My old one pictured above was the first one he sold (second one he made as one was for him. ;))
