ok again... i repeat go into best buy and ask them if they have any EOL or end of life computers. They sell them really cheap because they usualy have a lot of them from big sales and they are gunna be too old to sell them later down the line and they have to get rid of them. I have seen computers go for like 25 bucks before its funny. Because the managers are all shisty over at best buy sometimes to make money of the service plan. You wont get out of there with one for 25 bucks LOL. But what will happen is you will buy the computer for 25 bucks and they will sell you the service plan for 250... or 229... So for 275 give or take... you get a new computer or open box EOL computer usually newer stuff too like 1.4ghz core 2 duo..1gb ram 160gb hdd... or better and a 3 year accidental coverage.

Obviously they wont sell u the computer for 25...but in the end you will make out with a good deal...

I have tons of used laptops and parts. Do you need it to have a serial port to connect the standback? PM me if still interested, and I will give you a few options.

only USB required to connect to SB. however, i run a lot of CNC machines, and i would be thrilled if you have some old ass laptop that has a serial port... it can be old and slow as shit, as long as it had 1 usb, 1 serial, and possibly and ethernet jack (not even really required...) that would be awesome... the cheaper the better

So, I rounded up about 15 or so used laptops today that I can sell. It will take me a couple of weeks atleast to find the time to build some up. Generally, each one has atleast one problem. Any thing from a floppy drive, cd-rom, hd, etc, etc.. I stand behind every used computer we sell, and I have been doing it for 13 years. Here's a glance at a stack:

August is always a busy month with repairs. :) About 90% of these people install malware / fake protection. I can't believe that so many people fall for those "warnings"..
These are ready to be picked up, and line to wait is about the same.
