missing the piece circled in red.....

It's in the owner's manual. I think it's just a piece to unlock the gear shift if it's stuck in park. What happened to it?

i just got one did u just put it around the buttom piece or did u glue it or something

You kind of have to wedge the material in there between the bezel and the white plastic bit that contains the track for the shifter. Can be a pain in the ass and it doesn't come out looking quite as good as an actual manual shiftboot, but it's sure as hell better than what mazda gives you. Good luck

i just took that plastic piece off and put it over the white shifter cover thing for now it looks way better

Looks like he bought the trim piece/boot from a MS3 (note the silver trim around the boot).
