Doesn't the box depend on you holding the clutch in to disengage the engine while you rev the engine up to a set point?

Can't do that in an automatic, unless you want to just slam it into drive.

yeah.. it cuts ignition when you push the clutch pedal in, thats the only thing its based on (well that and that you are at 100% throttle). you can tell by looking at the box. it has a blue led when your driving around, but when your at 100% (for either launching or flat foot shifting) the light starts blinking fast.

sofa king fun :loco:

plus auto's hold a decent amount of boost between shifts anyway.. the only real advantage to this would be launch control.
