Anybody purchase a wind deflector for your moonroof? Don't have my M3 yet but think the deflector serves a purpose and also enhances the look of the car.

I don't know about ehancing the look of the car :tongue: but it certainly makes the cabin quieter. At least you won't get that ultra-low frequency resonance that hurts ears. You can even crack it during light rain.

My car that I'm currently driving came with a wind deflector and I removed it because I didn't like the way it looked at all... but if you like the style of it, go for it.

I'll wait to see another with it. I generally dont' go for tacking on those type of bits.

My moonroof has a deflector that pops up when the roof is retracted. I think the cabin is quite quiet when the roof's open.

Thanks for replies. I did not know about the aluminum pop up. When I do my test drive, I will check out. Will save some money in not purchasing a wind deflector.
