You will be wanting more amp.

I use a Kenwood KAC-9104 which runs 900 x 1 watts RMS @ 2 ohms which is plenty of power for my 2 10" subs...

You'll get the most out of this amp by driving a 4-ohm load. Since the kicker subs have dual 4-ohm voice coils, one sub will give a 2-ohm or 8-ohm load (parallel or series). Two subs wired in parallel with the coils on each sub in series would give you a total load of 4-ohms.

If you go with one sub, you would drive each coil with one channel and get 330w (165x2 @ 4ohms). Two subs will get 400w (400x1 bridged into 4ohms).

Bottom line, yes it will work, but as coondogg suggested, the subs could handle more, especially if you're getting two of them.
