Id be very interested in that. My 3 has been paid off now for about a year, and its still got a pretty high resale value. Id sell it and get a MS 3 sedan in a heartbeat.

My only thing is, it would have to be able to have a sunroof...i love mine too much to give that up

Dunno? The Mustang GT was always the hatch :smokin: J/K, I think it would be nice to have both. I suggest anyone who would buy one, if it were the sedan, should email Mazda. Lots of emails kept the Mustang from turning into what later became the Probe. Let them know what you think, or they wont change anything.

Ummm, the Probe came out in 88 or 89. It was probably more of a snail mail campaign that kept the Mustang alive. 8)

Never. If it was a sedan, all the hatch ppl would be saying why wasnt it a hatch.

Mazda wouldnt be able to compete with most of the market, and it would be a family car with boost going that route.... wait thats why they made the MAZDASPEED6

I hear ya Mattleegee, but the problem is, I think the Mazda6 and even the MAZDASPEED 6 is ugly.

Sorry, the 3 Sedan is my personal favorite of the mazda lineup. I just wish they Mazdaspeed-a-fied it from the factory

Good. I think it's funnier to go boost-boost past someone in a tarted up mommy wagon (Not really, I think the hatch is the more "male" oriented of the two)

This is so odd. The dealership I got my M3 from had 2 Speed 3s in stock, one in the true red sport, and one in the copper red sedan.
The sedan had a white interior, which really went well with the exterior colour scheme.

If I could have afforded the extra cost, I would have picked up the sedan in a flash. But and extra 10k was just too far over my budget. It was gorgeous, though. That would definately be my second choice in colour. If only it were available for the 3.

Huh? There is no Mazdaspeed3 sedan. Are you sure it wasn't a Mazdaspeed6?

Better for straight line performance, maybe. By the time you work in the suspension and other mods it's not really cheaper than the Speed3, and chances are it'll be nowhere as reliable.

If its still in the showroom when I go back to pick up some stuff I forgot in my trade-in, I'll check it again. I suppose it could have been a speed6, but for some reason I recall it being a speed3. I'll try and grab a camera when I go, so I can snap some pics.

Definitely double-check on that. If there is a car badged as a Speed3 sedan the dealer is trying to put something over on you; take as many pics as you can.

Mazda doesn't make a Mazdaspeed3 sedan; if they did Mazda's response to everett-m3s's email would have been "We do make one, dumbass."

could have been a dealer model....could have dressed up a sedan, slapped it with mazdaspeed parts and are trying to sell it.

No different then slapping rims and system and calling it a "Chopper Edition" If you live in vegas or wathc A&E you know what i am talking about.
