Hi M3 mania!

I just had my 2005 M3 2.3S Purge valve replaced by dealer for $343.00 total part & labor. When I went home, I noticed that there is a TSB for this problem. My car has passed the 4 yr / 50k ml warranty. Will Mazda still cover this repair? I was about to show them the TSB. Any input guys??

My car has 53,500 ml and just 3 mth after the expiration.

Ask the dealership if you can get a "extended" warranty. I got one with the Mazda I go to for oil changes. I have 54,000 on my Mazda and I got another 4 year or 100,000 mile warranty on it (which one comes first). They should have some kind of option.

Doesn't that cost extra? Extending the warranty?

I think the OP is trying to get reimbursed/recompensed for his out of pocket costs @ the end of his warranty.

talk to the service manager. if that doesn't work, talk to the dealership manager. that doesn't work call your state's office of consumer affairs along with the main corporate number for MAzda.
