Hi guys. I was just wondering. I won't be getting my Mazda3 until Mid June. Will Mazda dealerships be getting new 3s through June or later or am I out of luck. Cuz I really want my Black Mica w/ moonroof, ABS, etc. Give me feedback please! I'm a noob

If you're willing to wait that long - you may want to go into your local dealership and see if they'll order you one to your specs. I think your particular car will be fairly common though... I remember seeing all sorts of black s sedans and hatchbacks with sunroofs when I was shopping.

I would advise against putting down a deposit or anything... as other forum members here have demonstrated - a scandalous dealer may try jerking you around once they have a bit of your money.

If you do put down a deposit, use your credit card. This way, you're fully protected. Put down as little as possible....definitely no more than $500.

I doubt you'll have a problem getting what you want. The car is so new, I don't think they would stop cranking them out. Its possible there would even be some new rebate out by then.

When I was looking, dealers kept telling me "its a hot car", "theyre flying off the lot" and all that BS. IMHO - its probably more about dealer trickery than a lack of supply.

TriggaHappy, I know what you mean. In my town there are at least 15 3's on the lot. I went to a dealer in St. Louis and they had row after row of 3's and 6's.

I'm sure it depends on the size of the dealer. The dealer were I ordered mine has 4 HB and 9-10 sedans. I went to the few in IN that were close and one had 3 and the other had 4-5 total. I agree with holeydonut that if you can wait just order, it sucks waiting but you know you will get what you want and no one was test driving it, otherwise just give the dealer a heads up and I'm sure they will get a look out for what you want at local dealers. It can be a pain to find exactly what you want, especially if you're picky about color, so I feel your pain. Particularly if you don't want a black, silver or grey, which from what I've seen are by far the most popular colors... (and are of most makes, not just the 3)

Dealers in the US have a lot of Mazda3's but they're all the "i" model or automatics. I've been waiting almost 3 months for my 3 (ETA is in about 1-2 weeks). If you order a car with leather, it can take a really long time.

Unless you are asking for NAV, you shouldnt have a problem getting the car you like. Dealers are low in stock on 3's with nav because it's an expensive option that most people just dont want. Your's however is a very common build.

I believe it varies upon several factors (as I understand), and as some here implied.

The more unusual the combination is, that is, the color/options, the longer you'll have to wait..... and this is what I'm currentlydoing, wating a lifetime !

Is yours on the way yet? My dealer just e-mailed me and said mine is on the boat and I ordered a week later than you. 5 spd HB everything minus nav. Hope yours is on there too

I got mine the first day I really looked for one, but at the same time, i've only seen one since I got it. not sure why they're so hard to get...
