So I am really excited about getting a new 09 CWP MS3. Dont know if its worth the anxiety to wait or should I get it as soon as I can (which will be in about 2 months). I have to wait either way, the question is, how much do I really need to wait?

Thanks in advance.

Although they will need to get rid of their speeds they won't give them away. The new regular 3's are supposed to be here in a month or so and nobody is panicking about getting rid of 09's.. the incentives that are available now won't get too much better between now and then so expect it to be the same for the speeds, but realize the longer you wait the harder it will be to locate the exact one you want (color, options, etc.).

Good luck!

I have a similar question but mine is regarding '08 MS3's. My local dealers still have quite a few 2008's. Do you think they're really motivated right now to move these? I figure I'd rather go for an '08 instead of an '09 if I can get a better deal. Were there any changes between the 2008 and 2009 model years? Also, how can you tell the difference between the '08's and the early production '08's?

There are no differences between late production 2008's and 2009's

08.5 added

-Piano Black Trim pieces instead of silver
-Black Cloth inserts instead of silver on Sport models, and Alcantara Suede inserts instead of cloth on GT trims.
-White gauge needles instead of red
-Added two new colors Metropolitan Gray Mica & Crystal White Pearl Mica( REMOVED sunlight silver & Cosmic Blue)

As for how motivated the dealers are, I would say they would probably try to put you in an 08 before an 09, which has better incentives then 09's anyway, it depends on the dealer but they probably won't be too desperate to get rid of them. As spring time is coming the market for performance cars opens up drastically so they probably aren't too worried. BUT every dealership is different so I would just look around see who's willing to give you the best deal!

Thanks for the info. I guess the ones I checked out at the dealership were 08.5's. What do you mean by incentives exactly? I've looked to see if there are any special deals for MS3's but it seems like most of the discounts and special financing are just for regular 3's.

I also couldn't find anything. What's out there? :)

In my region(northeast) that's the current special that the dealers are advertising but I've heard of people elsewhere mentioning the same thing, just check with your local dealership to see what they are offering.
