Hey guys, I need some opinions. Will there be any problems running a 225/45/17 tire on a wheel that is 17x7x48mm?? I see that a lot people are using 225/45/17's with a 7" wheel, but the offset is usually 40-42mm, not 48mm.

I don't have plans on lowering the car, (2006 GT Hatch) but I also haven't completely ruled it out either. So, is 48mm too high of an offset on a 7" wheel to safely mount 225/45/17's??

i will be running 225/45-17 with a 47 offset in the spring. Hopefully it works out fine.

I'm running 225/45/17's on 17x7 with +48 offset, lowered with Tein Basic coilovers and it works fine.

i win...im running 225/45/17 with a +55mm offset and ONLY rub at full lock, no other time. youll be just fine!
