I may be heading up to Edmonton next week on a business trip and was wondering if there is anything in particular I should check out while I'm there. I have no clue how much free time I'll have (if any), but if there are any good attractions, restaurants I should hit up, etc let me know. Chances are I'll be staying near Canadian National's Walker Yard (although knowing nothing about the city, I really don't know where that is).

go to West Edmonton Mall. bwahahaha

lots of people, but it's the only *real* attraction Edmonton has to offer.
-indoor water park & amusment park
-lots of shopping
-skating rink
-movie theatre
-a few restaurants
-teenie boppers
-animal shows (seal show & some live flamingos trapped in a glass cage)

Whyte ave (82nd ave between ~90-110st) is where the "night scene" is. lots of bars and restaurants.

I am an attraction.
[/quote]

I thought about trying to meet up with some local members, but since:
1) I'm not sure when I'm going
2) I'm not sure exactly where I''ll be going
3) I'm going for a field test, so my schedule pretty much revolves around the customer
4) I'm going to have a co-worker or two in tow

I figured it probably wouldn't work out. If there are a couple static places to check out when I do get the chance I'm all for it, though.

McDonalds aren't exactly anything impressive....

I'm in my mid-twenties, but depending on who actually ends up coming with me they'll probably be in their mid thirties.

If you are able to come up on a weekend we will all go out and I'll get trashed.

Since it's a business trip that's really not an option. The schedule is being set by the client, so I'll definitely be coming up during the week. Which week is still in flux, though. Two days ago we through we were going up this coming Monday, but we just got word that they're now pushing for the week after.

realdeal:
Sorry to disappoint on the age thing :D
