This is my first car and I purchased it in Dec 07, but I decided last week that I should start having a little fun with my 3. The only things I have added are tint, new rims/tires and a grill. I put on the rims/tires and the grill. I had no idea I would have this much fun and satisfaction out of doing these small things. So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you are looking for an inexpensive mod I've noticed that a lot of people, especially sedans buy the stubby or shark fin antennas...

A few I have done that aren't too expensive: LED interior and reverse/license plate, Spoiler, HID headlights, new shift knob/pedals. You could also get eyelids relatively cheap, smoked side markers and much more, but running out of ideas off the top of my head.

All very good suggestions! I totally forgot about the sharkfin antenna, my friend has that on his 3. I do agree that the side moldings do have to go lol.

Smoked side markers and a new shift knob does sound pretty nice.

Thanks guys! I got some new ideas. :D

Hid and lowering it should be on the top of your list. maybe try to find the black version of the sedan tail lights also. Will complete the blacked out look.

In order:

Lower, stubby , OEM Side skirts (im telling you, it will look SO MUCH better) possibly some Newer (06+ Sport) Tail lights

from there. TURBO!

You guys are right.

I think lowering is next as well as a stubby antenna. OEM side skirts? They look that good? Yea, I think I should get the black taillights but they are a bit pricey, how does the spray work?

Thanks guys! Great ideas all around, more fun to come!

I think painting your front grill to match should be at the top of the list IMO besides that...

stubby/shark antenna, smoke side signals, painted brake calipers, lower/coil springs, Cold air intake, exhaust.

I thought id put the cheaper stuff first

Alright, I'm looking for a lowering kit atm. I'm going to get a stubby as well, my friend has a sharkfin on his white mazda3 and I'm just not feeling it.

I also want to remove the side moldings, I never really noticed how retarded they look lol... but now I do. I have an 06, would removing it now leave some discoloration?

ty!

TB ground, CS inserts (or the Medieval dogbone), short shifter, hawk HPS; then CAI and CBE.

IMO, I would do the suspension; springs, struts; and go for a rear swaybar. If you want rice I would say go for eye lids and a lip.

Yeah, I was joking. That's great mileage for a Jeep...sounds similiar to what my dad has gotten out of his past 2 Explorer 4x4's.
