Ok, in the past few months i noticed that my gas is burning a helluva lot faster than it should. SO I measured it and im getting 16MPG!!! Im not at all an aggressive driver and I don't have a clue what could be causing this. I know alot of people are gonna say "change your fuel or air filter". But even if BOTH filters were bad, it shouldn't cause that big of a loss.

Someone please help.

They do, its a weird one, its located IN the fuel tank from what I hear. And whats even more f*cked up is that I have a Manual Trans.

Hell I don't have the time to take it to the dealership. I work from 6am to 4pm MON-FRI and the dealership is only open till 12 on Saturdays. I'f I can fix this myself, that would be ideal.

I'll see what I can do. I've read around and apparently I am far from being the first guy on this forum to push out 16mpg. I just wish somebody had an easy answer lol.

Where is that located on the vehicle? Would I be able to fix/replace it myself? And if so, how much would it cost?
