It has four speakers and a single CD Player. Reason I am asking is I am curious since the Hondas put in their brochures that the Civic has a 160 watt system

I doubt it. Even aftermarket headunits will only put out low 20 watt rms per speaker....

The speakers are rated for 25watts, doesnt say RMS or peak, so assume its around 100 for the mazda.

I just took another look at my brochure for the Civic and thats what it said :/ Oh well, I like the looks of my car better and thats why I got it
