so like... 400-500lbs less than a speed3? 200lbs is ~.1s off E.T. so we should be seeing some good numbers out of the speed3's once they're on a good set of slicks. Or even the M/T E.T. Streets hook pretty damn good.

some dude i know back home, got a zx3 those weight 2593.

we went and weight every parts we took off and installed.
seats/wheels/steering wheel/hood/rear bumper and rear seats off and stayed off
replaced by
recaro seats/rotas/momo steering wheels/cf hood/

the total weight he took of was only like 240 pounds (not too good with those).
then if u add a turbo kit , it is more weight, so i dont think that car is a lot lighter than stock.

i was just guess from what i know.

you took off 240 pounds, but how much did you put back on? there is no way he lost 240 pounds in swapping seats, hood, steering wheel, and bumper. Probably about 80 at best.

and dont forget a speed is riding on some big and heavy 18"

so minus the passenger seat, spare, rear seats, etc, you could probably get it down to 2,950. Run on ~1/4 tank, with some 16's and drag radial and low to mid 13's should be easy stock i would imagine. I guess i'll just have to wait until it's in my driveway to find out.

i can not tell u how much it weights it iwas 2 years ago.

the rear bumper was about 9kg and that stayed off.

just looks at sky's 3

he seats weights 23 pounds while our stockers are 45 pounds or some, that is already 40ish pounds already

take all the junk in the rear an other 15kg

rear seats close to 10kg too.

hood, that was a huge difference, a very well vented CF hood, there i can not tell u the weight, but i could pick it and raise it high with just one arm.

im ordering that and a few other things before the car even gets here(mount, shifter bushings, sharkfin, etc. stuff that usually takes a while and that i KNOW i will want right away)

I've got a few sets of dr's from my camaro, but 2 sets are 15's and one set is 16's. not sure if they'll fit the 3. At 3,550lbs, with a 2.73 rear axle, broken posi, and 280rwhp 319ft/lbs, my camaro went [email protected] with a less than satisfying 1.95 60ft. So with roughly 40 less hp, and 50 less tq, AND 500 less pounds, I don't see 13.30's-13.40's too far fetched with a stock speed3 and a decent launch.

I believe I just did. Like I said, I plan on upgrading the mount in the summer, but I want to see what it can do now, as is.

I've done about 10 or so runs on a completely stock car. Euro I'm sure has upwards of 20 on his car, being mostly stock....

i broke my rear motor mount on a 1-2 shift last june. what sucks is that my awr rear motor mount was in my mailbox but i went to the track right after work.
