Hi, just wondering what everybody paid for their MS3 CAI from the Mazda dealers in Canada. I'm looking to buy one and the local dealer said around $290, but I'm pretty sure thats for the regular M3. Thx.

It was from their CD-rom accessories disc. He said it was Canadian, and when I asked "isn't that for the regular 3", he said the price is similar. :?

I paid C$410 at Downtown Toronto Mazda, that is about US$340. You can get it cheaper if you order from the US, but I wanted to give the local dealership the order so I can build a bit or a relationship with them.

My local dealership cannot even change the oil right. I went for their courtesy oil change just before getting the MS CAI. Guess what? They forgot to put back two of the bolts of the undercover. I made them order them despite the fact that I could just get them in Home Depot or use the ones holding the fuel ballast. I don't forgive any mistakes regarding my car unless is a simple recall or I can't prove it was them... Additionally my dealer wouldn't even give me a $10.00 discount from MSRP of the MS CAI, while tonkin gave us $89 under MSRP, including shipping and no sales tax (the sales tax here would have added $28 to the MSRP of the CAI). I paid MSRP for the car for the first time in my life back in October and that's the last MSRP that I'm going to pay regarding this car. I love it and wanted to be the first one in my city to have it. I don't regret it, but my dealer should had taken that into consideration.

Downtown Toronto Mazda has been pretty good so far. They seem to have done a good job installing the CAI, and the price I paid for it was C$50 off MSRP, so a reasonable discount.

As well when I told them about the squeeky suspension they verified the sound (for once they could reproduce it) and are talking to Mazda about it. In addition they knew about the p2006 cel when I took the car in.

So far so good.

50$ of MSRP = what?
as for the suspension, greasing the sway bar bushings resolved the problem for me (confirmed last week with the 2 days of -40C)
as for the CEL, I'll get it fixed at the next visit, it's 13C right now, snow is melting and it's off.

Do you have written proof of the warranty coverage on your installed CAI?? I just talked to the parts guy at this dealership and he said he just called Mazda Canada and they verbally told him it's a 1-year warranty - no color, no nothing

I'm going pretty much insane. My dealer has told me they will not install this part now until they get confirmation from Mazda Canada :bash: Come on Mazda Canada - WTF are you waiting for :?

hey Brecker, if your dealer does not honour the blue warranty, then i would print off the message from the old Mazda Canada Forum: http://www.mazda.ca/forum/eng/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=516 (you might have to log in). And show them the message, and show them that Forumadmin4 said is is a blue warranty.
