What color did you decide on, finally?

I'm trying to get "real" numbers here, so don't answer if you're not driving it yet! You could still change your mind...

Colors appear in the same order as Mazda USA's brochure.

I had to sacrifice two colors from the poll : only 10 answers are allowed...

Shimmering sand and Strato Blue took it. Post it here if that's what you're driving!

I have a strato blue. I was very hesitant about the color (my dealer had to send someone to Baltimore from Fairfax to get it). It was the only one on the eastern seaboard that had my options.

But, after staring at it (incessintly) for the past 3 days, I am VERY happy with the color, it truly stands out "subtlely". The orange is great and the red is a real head turner, but the blue looks really nice standing still, without drawing a lot of attention while on the go.

BTW, haven't figured out the spell check yet on the forum, so, please, forgive my lack of spelling ability, blame bill gates.... dirty MSWORD

I'm assuming the "black" option is Black Mica. It's a hard color to get ahold of right now. They'll be here soon. I almost went tits grey and liked the color alot. Unfortunately so did every other car manufacturer. Last year's color was silver, so the manufacturers decided to darken it up and make the color of the year tit grey. They will be all over the road soon. I figured once they're done darkening every shade of silver, it will eventually be black. So I'm ahead of the game. Also I like the Black Mica because it's metallic which helps hide swirls, I've also only seen one other manufacturer with metallic black, and it looks like a dark charcoal in the sun.

Black is Black Mica, yes. The Mica term applies to many colors in this list, as does Metallic (actually, the only non-Mica or -Metallic color is Rally White), so I simply put the actual color names.

Well I drive a 6, but I know I would buy the velocity red. I won't vote though since I have no intention of buying a 3, but I fell in love with the red after seeing it. It's so pretty.
