Hey everyone.

I was wondering if anyone had ever had this problem. I have a python 881xp car alarm and the things acting a little weird. When i arm or disarm the system it works fine but the lcd remote beeps 6 times as if I'm out of range. Because of this the lcd doesn't register that i actually did arm the system and gets confused. It does this everytime even if I'm right next to the car. It's getting to be a pain in the ass because the lcd will also show the doors are locked when they aren't and vice versa. I'm wondering if its the remote or the alarm itself. I replaced the batteries in the remote twice so that's not the problem.

If it was the remote I wouldn't think the car would actually arm or disarm. I'm stumped! If anyone could help me out, that would be awesome!

It could be a few things. First try replacing the battery. If that doesnt work have the transmitter reprogrammed to the brain. If all else fails try another remote.
