Just out of curiousity, how high or low do you have your volume?

I generally have mine between 4 and 6, depending on the recording. I find that I could use a half step between numbers sometimes -- kinda like a 4.5 or a 5.5, but that's just me.

4-7.

Windows down could be as high as 14.

4? 5? 7? 14?

Geez... Mine is generally around the mid 20s,and amps are all peaked at 28~30 depending on the song. When I dont bang, its about 10.

5 at the most usually. If I really like the song and I have the windows down, I might crank it to 10, but that's more than loud enough for my ears. They're pretty sensitive to sound, so making the music too loud really hurts.

The radio goes up to 33 on the US 6-Disc head unit, and if you try to turn it higher than that it says "MAX".

I have the "Advance Sound" feature thingy turned off, so the sound usually ranges from 7-12 depending on road noise due to the speed I'm driving... or 17-22 if I've got the windows down and driving.

6? The stereo goes that low? (sarcasm)

Seriously, I listened to the soundsystem at about 25, any more and the distortion becomes too great. I'll have it at max if the song is not base heavy and the speakers can play clean enough.

I've had aftermarket speakers in for about 2 weeks now and the volume level remains about the same, it just sounds way better =D

I cannot wait to get the amplifiers in so I may crank the volume up much higher without any distortion :p

I do hit 10 sometimes when I am listening to music in the car by myself, other than that it never goes above 9 and if I am talking with someone it is at 5. Does everyone use the Automatic sound leveler? That might make a big difference at higher speeds. I also think that people with aftermarket speakers might need a little more power to get the same volume so their range would be higher.

Windows open I run bout 19-20+, otherwise 18 is my usual spot. I turn it off if on the phone otherwise hover around 10 when talking. I don't notice any difference with the ALC. I personally think it's a big marketing ploy(not that thats the reason I bought the car). They have had the same option on Harleys(and I'm assuming other touring bikes) for a while now, and in that case, you can definately hear the difference.
