which bov would be the better choice to get...turbosmarts bov or cpe's hks bov

i love the sound that the turbosmart makes but i realy like how the hks performs but i dont like the sound to much...

im favoring the turbosmart because of the sound but which bov would be the better choice?

both these valves will likely perform about the same, but since sound is your main issue, i would just get the turbosmart and be happy with your decision...:D

as long as your stock valve is actually holding the pressure, it's definitely the best choice, since its behavior is what the ecu is expecting...

HKS does not require you to adjust it. IT is self adjusting. I think it actually sounded better than the Turbosmart... and I've had both.

agreed. If you stock valve isnt leaking than the only reason to change it is to get a better sound or a different look in the engine. Mine has just begun to leak but I will be replacing it with the Forge since it looks stock.

Skip the CP-E kit and get the HKS that was designed for the Mazdaspeed engine. Even then, if I was shelling out that kind of money I would skip the HKS and get a turbosmart.
