The Mazda Speed 3 is what the rest of the world call a Mazda 3 MPS :D

The Mazda Speed 3 has a Volvo 2261cc Turbo engine that creates 260 BHP/PS (Not sure which!?) does 0-62 in 6.1 seconds (0-60 in 5.9s) & a top speed of 155mph (250kmph).

Japan calls it the Axela MPS, USA calls it the Mazdaspeed3, but the majority of the world calls it the Mazda3 MPS. I SHOULD be driving mine it 2 weeks and its US spec. There is a company that ships US spec cars and sells them here with a EU warrenty in order to help out us USVF (United States Visiting Forces). It is easier to drive a LHD car here than to drive a RHD car in the states. Besides ive spent all my life shifting with my right hand why would i change now! haha

You breaking it in rough, or gently?

The brochure only mentions the MPS, not the Mazda Speed.. wondered if it was the MPS or not, but now I know :)

I will be takeing it gently...no WOT and nothing over 4k for around 2500 miles. My dads a deisel mechanic and he says its bad idea for any engine to flog it right off the bat. our DISI follows many of the charactoristics of a deisel and although modern technology smoothens things out internally alot better than earlier mechines its still not a perfect system...its better to be safe than sorry.
