someone just asked about this same kit a week ago....NO!!

dont go turbo shopping for your 3 on ebay.

you have 3 options, well 1 in my book.

1. hiboost
2. sci
3. hass turbo

several people have it with stock tranny. i'll be on the stock tranny until this time next year.

aaaand i wouldn't consider sci an option.

^^^ And yes! plenty of tranny issues, BUT! There are gears available. and No Hass is not an option either since last I heard he was getting off the 3 market. So... I guess HiBoost it is! lol Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding.....

P.S. I wouldn't buy that kit with your money! :?

I like ACT clutches, but i'm not sure of the applications they have for the Mz3. I'd say wait, and get a Speed3, then you don't have to worry about busted driveline bits.

that's not a solution for people who want their car to do what they when they want and how they want it.

the ms3 is a nice car but a better car can be made out of a regular 3 for less money. the cost of a turbo upgrade for the ms3 is the same as a hiboost kit.

No, I mean gears. There are two sets of gears available right now, Juan's and a company I'm dealing with which were the ones I bought and are being installed as we speak. As for the clutch, I'm running the spec stg 3 and has worked well FOR ME, I know Juan is running the ACT and apparently has done well also because I haven't heard anything about his clutch so... I know ACT are good clutches too so take your pick.

Yes, we have 4 cars running very strong on ACT cclutch disc and the stock Pressure plate. I bought a SPEC clutch and the pressure plate I got was exactly the same as stock with a different paint on it. So now I go to ACT and they make the disc custom for the car.

learn from others mistakes here (mine, and a few others) and get the Hiboost kit. You dont want to have the troubles I had with other vendors. It will be complete, it will fit and it will be safe.
