Stupid question...what does GS GT and GFX mean??

They're the different models available to Canada. The sedan is available in the GX, GS, and GT trims, while the hatch is available in GS and GT.

Pricing is as follows:
Sedan-
GX: $16,195
GS: $17,695
GT: $21,345

Hatch-
GS: $20,185
GT: $21,385

As for GFX... that would be the appearance package, no?

yes, GFX is the package that adds:
17" Alloy Wheels
Sporty bumpers
Side Sills
Body Coloured Grille
Sport Fog Lamps
Power Moonroof

Additionally, the GS has a 2.0L engine while the GT has a 2.3L engine, 2 tweeters, 16" wheels standard, ABS standard, fog lights standard, alarm system, different cloth seats, and some other stuff. As was suggested above, check out http://www.mazda.ca/ for all the details.
