I am debating what size to get 215/45 or 205/50 I am going to be using these on stock rims I will be using them for daily driving and AutoX for about 2 months. I am then getting a new set or Rims and tires for Daily use. What do you guys think?

215/45 will give you a wider tread width, and also it will most likely be cheaper since 215/45 is a more common size than 205/50. Only disadvantage is the speedometer will read 1.84% too fast, which isn't a lot really.

I guess my biggest concern is sidewalls I do not want alot of role extra miles I can deal with.

because of the lower profile, the section width (measurement from inner to outer sidewall) will actually be less than 205/50. So the sidewall should be stiffer on 215/45.

good point anyone else have experience with 215/45/17 on stock rims

yeah... you got to watch out for potholes with any wheels or tires....there is still plenty of meat in 215/45

during the next week, ill have 215/45 17 Kumho SPT on my stock rims, i'll let you know how it rides compared to the stock Goodyear RS-A.

I am actually going to get new tires this week as well so ill just ask the tire shop to do a test fit for both sizes since they have them in stock.

Ended up getting the 215/45s they look about the same size as the 205s I had on wiered.. anyway aceleration grip seems good as well as braking. Cornering I'll have to wait till this weekend to try them out at an AutoX since I almost recked leaving the tire shop . The first corner I took at a little over 40mph was a 90 degree turn and I lost the rear thank god for autox didn't get scared just corrected the steering and back straight forward AHH wut fun . I'll post some pics once I get the car cleaned. :klavergreg:
