Canadian site lists 62% front weight distribution! with me in the ride that'd be closer to 65%.... WTF

that's a big turn off.... the biggest so far... will have to test drive and feel for the handling seriously....

i guess the other option is to have a couple of heavy magnet 12" subs sitting in the trunk in big ported mdf boxes... that may even out the handling a bit... but then, that's gonna slow down the car so much that it's not very much faster than a civic...

weep weep...

I don't know why that's so distressing... the US specs list a 60:40 split, which is the same as the Mazda6, and I've never heard anyone complain about its handling. It's a front-drive car, there's only so much they can do to minimize front weight.
Yea, most traction car have a comparable weight distribution 60/40. (eg. Accord auto 62/38)
mmmm i was hopin for something that feels like my miata...

but then i suppose it will never happen unless i go for a bimmer...

Front heavy weight distribution is both a plus and a minus for FWD cars. On the plus side, it allows it to put more power to the road because there's more weight on the wheels providing power. On the downside, handling is degraded (especially at high speeds).

No, it will never feel like a Miata, it isn't RWD :p

You could drive from the back seat.

Well, if you've got an extra $10,000 and lots to spend on gas, there's always the RX-8... that's got 50:50 distribution.
