so i've noticed while looking at pics of peoples cars with turbos, or atleast the people with the hiboost kit, they all have the same intake on them, so if i get the kit there going to give me somtehing that is going to replace my cai? and if so, why cant i just use my existing one?

The CAI goes directly to the throttle body. On turbos, the intake goes to the turbocharger. You may use part of it.

You may cut it and just try to fit it into the turbo inlet pipe.

If you get the hiboost kit, it will come with an intake that will work with your turbo.

Same if you get the SCI kit I believe.

I dunno if it's really a CAI, but maybe more like an SRI?

technically it's a sri but it doesn't matter on a turbo.

We designed the intake in such a way that the engine will breathe fresh and cool air. We do not use a Cold air system because of the danger of hydro lock in the rainy season. I do not why SCI designed the air filter where it is sucking air from the hottest spot of the engine compartment. (just my 2 cents)

the SCI kit sticks the filter right on the turbo.
