Ok so i have been doing alot of research trying to figure out which DP is best for making power. I am stuck between the TurboXS DP and the corksport DP. I know the TurboXS says like 40WHP with race pipe and Corksport is like 26WHP with race pipe? I know that i have seen in the forums that there is a fitment issue with TurboXS, can anyone verify any issues and power gains??? :) Thanks for your help!

I will let you know, I got the TurboXS DP (ver.2) and I am doing the install tomorrow.
I had heard that the first wave of DP (ver.1) had issues but the ver.2 DP had none.
I got mine from O A K O S.com for $269 free shipping.
I already had a Corksport Testpipe and I did have a small issue with it sealing up to the stock exhaust.
The flange has a small angle to it so I think I got a hold of one from a bad batch.

I hope there are no issues connecting the TurboXS DP to the Corksport Testpipe.

We will see...

[/quote]They say (TurboXS) 40WHP/50ft.lbs.TQ, I kind of don't buy those numbers. It's probably more like 25-30WHP and maybe 30ft.lbs. TQ. Definitely a significant increase and it's a much smoother feel though out the power band when up-shifting or down-shifting. Since I haven't dyno'd my car can't say for sure. I've had no issues at all with this set up so far. Add an air intake (SRI or CAI) turbo inlet pipe and now you might see a few more horses... On top of that you have a nice free flowing system.

You say you have done "alot of research" and you come up with the TXS and Corksport as the top two??? Take a look at the CPE or Cobb one-piece products as they are both much better than the two you are looking at.

I agree and I don't have either of these. I have the Corksport setup just because I got a really good deal, but both CPE's or Cobb's single piece setup are very nice.

Maybe the OP did the research using his/her parameters and came to a different conclusion than yours.

Not calling you a cpe or Cobb leg humper but it's not hard to notice that "fan boi's" are the last people to offer reasonable opinions when folks ask about peoples product experience. Perhaps the OP had specific criteria that others do not.

I got the TurboXS DP on today with the help of 2 friends.
I am so glad they came by to help because that damn thing was a PITA!
No lie it is a 6 hour install.
Most of the time is getting all that shielding off and those bolts loose.

I was more worried about the O2 sensors.
I had heard the horror stories but they came out fine with that P-Blast stuff from Walmart.
It worked great with helping to break all those bolts.

Once the DP was out the TurboXS (ver2) went in quick and don't forget to get anti-seez to place on all the bolts and O2 sensors when you put them back on.

1 thing, the place I purchased the DP from forgot to send me a gasket.
A trip to the Parts store to get a custom gasket and then I had to get 2 new bolts/nuts and washers because I couldn't use those spring bolts on the DP/RP but they were used on the RP to stock exhaust.

I took it for a drive afterwards :)
Thats POWER! It pulls so damn hard!

So I am using a TurbpXS DP connected to a CorkSport Testpipe.
I am happy and I don't have any CELs... we will see after a few more miles.

Time to update my map to Stage 2 on the AP :)

/\/\/\ Did you do any 02 sensor cheater fix? If not you will probably get a CEL eventually. I did the diode fix on my install and have well over a thousand miles on this set up with no CEL or smoking issue, yet. I keep waiting to see a CEL every time I start it up, haha. I also went with the TurboXS cause I got a stupid deal on this kit, just a bit over $100. from someone local. The DP was never even installed and the RP had 2k miles on it. I ended up ordering new gaskets from TurboXS because I didn't want to re-use the ones that had been installed. This mod has turned my car into a little beast. Not sure why some find the need to slam parts they probably haven't even had direct experience with, I don't get it. Nobody's arguing there's some good companies selling these, but not everyone can just throw $500-$600 at this mod. I'm totally happy with the $$$ spent/quality to performance from my set up... I am speaking from my own personal experience with this piece from install to driving.

You don't like the way it looks! Ok I have heard it all now.

So you think if you entered your car into a show the judge would walk by and say wow your car looks great and then say, lets have a look underneath. Judge: Oh my what is that hideous looking pipe coming out of the back of your engine?
