I'm looking to get new rims for my 2005 mazda3 5-door. It's white and i was planning on getting some black polished rims that are 5 spoke. Any of you guys have any nice suggestions for me? Also, what kind of offset would be best fit for my car. I'm looking to spend around a grand on it.

A black 5 spoke, hummm.... Splistreams in 16" with some 225/65R16 should look pretty nice.

Why did you suggest 16's as opposed to the stock 17's just out of curiousity?

They're lighter (14 lbs i believe) and since the color is black, detail dosent show up. So it's like you have black pucks for wheels, this gives a stealth look to the car. I got a friend who had some on his white hatch, looked realy nice, look him up : Microdude

1: are u lowered?
2:1000 for just wheels or wheels and tire?
3: dont do black, it is so overdone and its boring now (plus u will get tired of black fairly fast)
4: what sort of desing do u like (5/6 spokes, multi spoke, thin, meaty?)
5 do you want a lip or not?

how can ppl say black is old? i dont get it theres not too many colors for rims in the first place and by just sayin dont get black rims is dumbs because there is all kinds of black wheels also, dont keep the black wheel down!

i said black wheels are over used, every1 got black wheels, it looks good, but u do get tired of them, while moving all black wheels look a like.

Black and white, is way to much of a contraste.

but thats just me.

on white i would go for:
gold
white
silver
polish

Personally I think the white on white look is the way to go. Its harder to keep clean, but damn does it look awesome!
